HIG’s Commitment – Statement of Inclusion

The global sports industry was heavily impacted by the effects of Covid-19. Sadly, the conditions surrounding an unprecedented situation were further exacerbated by the heart-breaking murder of George Floyd. It was devastating to again observe the anger and despair felt by our respected Black colleagues and friends who have endured discrimination and acts of violence. Our country is better than that. We are better than that. We as individuals can do more to achieve social justice. HIG encourages all members of the sports community to collectively use our platform and voice to combat the ugly racism that persists.

Our agency’s mission is to drive impact, innovative sponsorship, and change in sport. We do not tolerate discrimination and we stand resolutely against racism of any kind. We have a responsibility to align our business with others who replicate our actions to support diversity and inclusion throughout the sports community. Our partners have a documented history of pursuing equal opportunity for athletes of all gender, race, nationality and physical ability.

We are committed to representing a diverse client roster and continuing our fight for equality for female athletes, Black athletes and athletes with varying physical abilities. Our agency will act with integrity and compassion. We will treat our athlete clients and brand partners with professionalism, respect, and kindness. We will maintain a working environment where everyone is uniquely and collectively valued. We will be sensitive to differing perspectives and embrace variances in our business practices. HIG’s performance in these areas will broaden its platform and ability to impact others with our statement of inclusion.
