Abbey Weitzeil

Abbey Weitzeil is a dominant sprinter known for breaking barriers for women in swimming. She is an American Record Holder, and she was the first woman in history to break the 21-second barrier in the 50-yard freestyle.   At the Tokyo Olympics, Abbey brought home a silver and a bronze medal for Team USA, adding to her 2016 Rio Olympic gold and silver medals.  Abbey is proud to promote the message of body positivity and the beauty of fierce female competitors. She is driven by a passion for excellence and a desire to have impact – every time she steps on deck or into the weight room, speaks to the media or a young swimmer, adopts a rescue dog or dives into a creative art project.  With the FINA World Championships and the 2024 Paris Olympics around the corner, Abbey is well-positioned to make more waves.
